Advanced Folding Cover is the most convenient, toughest, and securable hard panel folding tonneau cover on the market. Advanced Folding Cover began business in January 1998 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Since then, the shop has grown and sales have increased. The company was bought by Bob and Deb Langeweg in August 2010 and moved to Wyoming, Michigan.

One of the main changes to Advanced Folding Cover since the Langewegs bought the company is bringing all aspects of the production of the tonneau covers back in-house. We will now be better able to serve our loyal customers and provide quality products – including custom design covers. We are a built-to-order company: “You order, we build.” This philosophy keeps our production costs down and therefore keeps cost down for you, our customer, as well.
All Advanced Folding Covers leave the factory with a four point slam latch system. The latches are located on both sides in the front and rear. This design gives the Advanced Folding Cover the capability of opening up from the front or rear. There are also two locks in the front and rear to keep your cargo safe and secure. Our Covers are water resistant which is credited to the seal design and placement.
The Advance Two panel covers are intended for smaller truck beds. These covers are strong and easily maintained. The hinge is in the middle of the two panel cover and the panels can be folded on top of each other. To open the cover from the front unlock the first panel and remove the key. Next, turn the lock cylinder to the right with your right hand at the same time lift up on the lift handle with your left hand folding the cover on top of the rear panel. To open the rear panel, just do the opposite.
The Advance X5 Supra cover is a hard four panel folding Tonneau cover. This cover was designed to look good and engineered to be tough. Our cover and installation hardware is routinely checked to fit to your trucks make, model, and year. Each panel has an aluminum black painted finish, which is the shell of the cover. The core of the cover is expanded polystyrene Styrofoam. The shell is glued and pressed onto the expanded polystyrene Styrofoam sheets. The panels and excursions are custom cut to fit your trucks make, model, and year. The excursions are aluminum, which are sealed with silicone then screwed onto the panels. Finally, the seals, lift handles, and latching hardware are installed.
Our four panel Advance X5 Supra cover is designed to be opened from the front or rear panel. To open the cover from the front unlock the first panel and remove the key. Next, turn the lock cylinder to the right with your right hand at the same time lift up on the lift handle with your left hand. To open the cover from the rear unlock the rear panel and remove the key. Second, turn the lock cylinder to the right with your right hand at the same time lift up on the lift handle with your left hand and fold the rear panel on top of the third panel. Lastly, place your left hand under the lift handle on the second panel and at the same time place your right hand under the rear edge of the two folded panels. Compress all three panels until they are touching each other and fold on top of the front panel. If the cover remains folded forward, remember it is extremely important that all straps are fastened down.
Installing the X5 Supra cover is fast and undemanding task thanks to the new rails. All you have to do is clamp the rail on the inside of each side rail on your truck bed. The measurements are done at the factory. On some models measuring our D-seal set back is required. After the rails are installed all that has to be done is attach the X5 Supra Cover.
